2/12/21 Corvette Members

To all the Springfield MO. Corvette Club Members if you are curious where you can find high resolution photographs from the 2020 Christmas Party from Highland Springs CC. They are listed inside the Corvette Members Store on the left column or in the tab right below this blog. The pictures inside that folder on a 1-12 scale in resolution are at a 10 because anything bigger then 20MB (Megabytes) per picture is just simply to big and will slow the experience of the website down. So if you want the full resolution size when you purchase your picture then email me at www.eyndlessphotography@gmail.com! Inside the email tell me your name and the number on your picture and I will email you or DropBox you a full size resolution of the picture. The Corvette Members Store for this event will be open for 60-days. that should give everybody enough time to do what they want to do.

SuperMicro SuperServer 4028GR-TRT

This SuperMicro SuperServer 4028GR-TRT is a absolute beast. This is a 4U chassis which is made to hold 8 Graphics Cards in it also holds 24 SSD 2.5" Samsung 850 Pro 1TB. The 4028GR-TRT has a X10DR-OT+-CPU plus the X9DRG-O-PCIE riser for the Graphics Cards. The X10DRG-OT+-CPU uses a Dual Socket Motherboard which has a pair of Intel Xeon E5-2699 v4 (22-Core) Processors and 512 GB of ECC DDR4 RAM. With the system being able to hold up to 3TB of ECC DDR4 RAM. I am also going to be putting (8-GPUs), NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 into the system. Now you might be wanting to know what I need all this power for and well this is going to be the new rendering machine and also a mining rig for mining Ethereum and other Cryptocurrencies.

SuperMicro SuperServer 6028R-TR

I decided to purchase a SuperMicro SuperServer 6028R-TR which is a 2U chassis which has an 8-Bay Drive for both 2.5"-3.5"-Inch Drives. This exact unit has a SuperMicro SuperServer X10DRi-T Dual Socket Motherboard with a pair of Intel Xeon E5-2630 v4 (10-Core) Processors. I am running 128 GB of ECC DDR4 2133 RAM, but the system is capable of holding up to 1TB of RAM. This machine is running 10GbE using the Intel X540T Nic.

Enterprise Networking

So right now for my network and storage solution I have changed things up. So I am using the NORCO 24U Rack now I am running a 10G Network right now but sooner or later I will move up to the 40G then the 100G. But for now I am using the 2013 Mac Pro 8-Core Xeon E5 CPU, Dual D700 AMD GPUs. Now since this is a Mac and not a PC things are different when it comes to setting up a 10G Network. First I started with the Sonnet Twin 10G Dual 10 Gigabit Ethernet Thunderbolt 2 Adapter which means I will be able to run 20G by running two RJ45 CAT6a Cables to a NETGEAR ProSafe 8-Port 10-Gigabit Ethernet Smart Managed Switch (XS708T), Cable Matters Rackmount 48-Port Cat6 RJ45 Patch Panel, 2-APC Smart UPS Rackmount System 2700W/3000VA, NETGEAR GS724Tv4 24-Port Gigabit Smart Managed Switch, RPC-3116 3U Rackmount Server Case with 16 Hot-Swappable SATA/SAS Drive Bays. Now I am still using the Synology DS1815+ 8-Bay NAS Drive running 4TB Seagate IronWolfe Pro Enterprise NAS Drives plus I am using two of the 4TB WD Purple Drives running in RAID 1 for my security cameras. I have on order the Sonnet Echo Express III-D Thunderbolt 2-to-PCIe Expansion Chassis. And for the 3-things I am going to have in there are the Intel Ethernet Network Adapter XS540-T2 10GBASE-T Dual Passive Port PCIe card and the final thing I am going to put in the Echo Express III is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan 16GB VRAM GPU Graphics Card.

Professional Home Network

So for my home network and storage solutions right now I am using the Mac Pro as my main home base work station. Now since I am running the Mac echo-system I am using the Sonnet Twin 10G Gigabit Ethernet Thunderbolt 2 and for my switch I am using the NETGEAR ProSAFE XS728T 28-Port 10-Gigabit Ethernet Switch and for my copper cable I am using the CableRack 7m SPF+ 10GB Copper Active Twinax 30AWG Direct. Now I know this setup is not cheap but this is what you need to run a business like this otherwise you'll just be sitting around waiting for things to transfer. Your looking at about $3,000.00 for the Sonnet Twin 10G Cards the NETGEAR Switch and the 10GB SPF + cable but then your speeds will be so fast that you won't even believe it but I am transferring things within in network at over 2,000 MBs which is absolutely ridiculous. But when I come back from a trip and need to dump all my content from a portable hard drive and download it to my DAS/NAS 8-Bay QNAP 871T Thunderbolt 2 at 20 GB speeds.

Late 2013 Apple Mac Pro

I bought a Late 2013 Apple Mac Pro 8-core 3.0GHz Turbo Boost up to 3.5GHz, 128 GB RAM, Dual D700 GPUs w/6 GBs of VRAM per GPU. Now the reason I bought this computer is because I work in the Apple echo-system being that I have a Late 2015 15.4" Mac Book Pro Retina, Late 2014 27" iMac, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV ect ect. So I bought this Mac Pro because of the sure speed of the computer and the reliability of it. This is by far the fastest computer I have ever used my scores on the Geek Bench Test were 3880 on the single core and 33,675 on the multi-core score. I shoot pretty much all my video in 4K or even 6K and I'm shooting with 36 and 42 MP cameras that provide a 80 MB RAW file. So I am able to render a 5 min 4K video from my Sony a7s ii in 2:16 and on the Mac Book Pro it took over 10 mins and the iMac took even longer something like 15 mins so step up your video length and you'll really see how much time you'll be able to save.

DJI Phantom 4 Pro

I just bought the DJI Phantom 4 Pro with the new 20MP sensor that can also shoot 4K @ 60fps finally. From what I can tell so far this is going to be a game changer in my Real Estate photography over the DJI Phantom 3. I will be doing a full comprehensive review on the DJI Phantom 4 Pro I am just going to need about a month with it so I will be able to give a amazing review but my first impressions are very very high so far. You'll need to make sure that you have a U3 Micro-SD otherwise you will not be able to shoot in 4K also I am using the new iPad Mini 4 which has a 7.9 inch screen which is a little bigger then the monitor that you can get with the DJI Phantom 4. One thing I can say with 100% confidence is that the DJI Phantom 4 Pro has a amazing battery life it is really close to what they claim I was getting around 26-28 mins per battery which I was only getting around 21-23 mins per on the DJI Phantom 3 which 5 mins doesn't sound like much but it truly is huge!

I will have pictures and time-lapse video content that will be eligible for licensing so make sure that you email me if you see something that you like or email me if you have something in mind that you are looking for and we'll make it happen.
